How WotsThat Works & How Points Are Scored
How It Works
SimpleGot a bizarre close-up, a weird angle, or an object nobody could identify? Upload it. The harder it is to guess, the more points you rack up for every failed attempt.
Browse mystery images and type what you think you're looking at. Get it right fast and you'll climb the Speed Solver board. Our matching is smart — typos and close answers count.
Points for stumping people. Points for solving. The Leaderboards page shows the last completed calendar month — this month's activity is hidden until the 1st, when the new standings lock in. Hall of Fame keeps every month's top five immortalised, and the Overall Points winner each month gets the WotsThat book, free.
