Sea foam bubble structure

What you're looking at

Sea foam is a natural phenomenon you'll spot along coastlines worldwide, especially after storms or rough waves. It forms when the ocean churns up organic material, proteins, and salts, creating a frothy layer that washes onto beaches in white, bubbly masses. Beachgoers often walk through it without thinking twice about what they're seeing.

When magnified to extreme close-up, sea foam reveals an incredibly complex architecture of interconnected bubbles separated by thin liquid walls. The individual spheres catch light differently, creating patterns of shadow and reflection that make it almost unrecognizable. What looks like simple white froth becomes a three-dimensional maze of geometry, which is why our puzzle solvers found it so challenging to identify.

Study the bubble walls and spherical shapes carefully, looking for the interconnected dome patterns typical of foam structures.
