A book page is something you see every day when reading, but this puzzle zooms far beyond what the naked eye can perceive. The page itself is a thin sheet made from processed plant material, typically wood pulp, bound together with other pages to form the books we hold and read.

When photographed at extreme magnification, the delicate fibres that make up the paper become a maze-like landscape of interwoven strands and texture. These individual plant fibres are so small and densely packed that at this zoom level, the page loses all sense of being a flat, smooth surface. Instead, it transforms into an abstract pattern of peaks and valleys, making it nearly impossible to recognise what you're actually looking at.

Look for repetitive fibrous patterns and interconnected thread-like structures when examining close-up puzzle images of paper products.
